Exploring the 5 Breathtaking Astra Scenic Points in Tower of Fantasy – My Complete Guide

Tower of Fantasy‘s stunning open world is full of incredible vistas and photogenic spots just waiting to be discovered. As a dedicated player and amateur photographer, I was thrilled to uncover 5 designated scenic points scattered across the alien landscape of the Astra region. In this guide, I‘ll walk you through how to find each scenic point in Astra and share tips to capture phenomenal photos at these locations. Get ready for an epic sightseeing adventure!

Overview of Astra Region

Before we get to the scenic points, let me set the stage by describing Astra‘s distinctive biomes. This region takes inspirations from sci-fi with its mix of desert, ruins, and high-tech structures. Astra has a mysterious history – some say this planet was inhabited by an advanced alien civilization before humans arrived!

Key areas like the Astra Shelter, Northern Ring Ranges, Football Field, Ring of Echos, and Tomb of Thorns each have their own flavor. There‘s something picturesque around every corner. Now let‘s get out there are start snapping some shots!

1. Astra Shelter Scenic Point

Starting close to home, this first scenic point is just a quick walk left from the Astra Shelter spawn point. You‘ll spot a camera icon floating near the rocky cliffs right outside the shelter walls. However, the icon won‘t appear until you complete all the Astra Shelter dungeon quests first.

Once visible, interact with the camera icon to take some lovely shots of the shelter exterior and surrounding desert landscape. Early morning is the best time to visit for golden sunrise hues. Zoom in to capture details of eroded badlands and scrubby vegetation. This is one of the most convenient scenic points to access.

2. Northern Ring Ranges Scenic Point

Next up is the Northern Ring Ranges scenic overlook located northeast of Astra Shelter past Crimson Pillar and the portal ruins. Look for a tall jagged peak and make the ascent for amazing mountain top views.

This is one of my personal favorites for the fantastic panorama of rolling peaks and deep canyons. In the evening, the craggy rock formations take on a fiery orange hue. Find a high vantage point and use a wide angle to encompass the endless ridges stretching across the horizon.

3. Mega Arena Scenic Point

Now let‘s head to the massive Mega Arena in the center of the Football Field area. You can‘t miss this huge circular arena flanked by massive screens and futuristic coliseums. The scenic point can be found on the arena grounds.

This location is awesome for capturing the scale and energy of the arena. The surrounding laser light shows also make for electric photos at night. For unique angles, climb up the coliseum or screens and shoot downward. Show off the arena‘s size by using people or vehicles to add a sense of scale.

4. Ring of Echos Scenic Point

Get ready to put your jetpack skills to work reaching the next scenic vista located high atop a pillar south of Ring of Echos. Look for the tallest spire and jetpack up while dashing and managing your stamina. The camera icon sits right on the flat summit.

This is an otherworldly spot for photography featuring alien stone arches and swirling formations. Try silhouetting your character against the towering pillars surrounding you. The height also allows for dramatic wide shots of the landscape so be sure to pan around.

5. Tomb of Thorns Scenic Point

For the last scenic point, head south of Crimson Pillars into the Tomb of Thorns zone. In an open area near the creepy tomb entrance is the camera icon.

Capture the ominous ambiance of the vine-covered tomb façade. Giant thorns twist overhead, which make for intriguing foreground elements. I prefer visiting at night when the area is ultra eerie. For a different perspective, try positioning the tomb ruins in the background.

Claim Your Rewards!

Once you‘ve collected scenic photos from all 5 points, it‘s time to reap your rewards! Open the chronicles tab at any terminal and claim your prizes. It‘s so satisfying to see the fruits of your sightseeing labor.

I hope you enjoyed this Astra scenic tour guide. Discovering astounding vistas is one of my favorite parts of exploring Tower of Fantasy‘s alien world. If you have any other questions about the scenic points or want tips for taking better photos, let me know in the comments!
