Now that you know a bit about the game, let‘s jump into the walkthrough! I‘ll be guiding you through every puzzle, obstacle and key find required to escape the First Chamber.

Walkthrough Introduction

The First Chamber serves as the starter escape room for Labyrinth of Egypt. As you‘ll soon discover, it eases you into things with mostly beginner level puzzles.

This introductory chamber takes around 20-30 minutes to complete for first-timers. It prepares you for the more complex puzzles and cryptic clues utilized in Labyrinth of Egypt‘s second and third chambers.

Here‘s a quick overview of the major steps involved:

  • Solve the Sphinx statue puzzle to obtain the first Pyramidion piece
  • Decipher the Eagle glyph puzzle to acquire the second Pyramidion piece
  • Collect all four Pyramidion pieces then insert into the pillar to receive the first Chamber Key
  • Use the Chamber Key to unlock the first door and solve the maze puzzle behind it
  • Make your way through the second door and solve the advanced maze puzzle
  • Unlock the final door with the third Chamber Key and escape!

With the basics covered, let‘s start cracking some puzzles! I‘ll provide extra tips and examples for trickier sections to ensure you don‘t get stuck.

Solving the Sphinx Statue Puzzle

Just a few feet into the chamber, you‘ll notice a prominent Sphinx statue positioned against a pillar. This contains our first puzzle.

When you first interact with the Sphinx, you‘ll see the pedestal inside is empty. Before doing anything else here, I recommend grabbing the "Egyptology 102" book lying on the ground nearby.

This book will come in handy later for deciphering hieroglyphs. Go ahead and add it to your inventory.

Now examine the various pillars surrounding the room. Focus your search on finding one with an engraved Night symbol on it.

Once located, grab the Sphinx statue resting on this pillar. You should now have a Sphinx in your inventory displaying the same Night symbol, matching this clue.

On the wall to the right is a stone panel with a carving of a hand. Approach and insert the Night Sphinx statue into the slot here.

Success! The Sphinx will emerge transformed – the engraving changed to a Water symbol.

For the final step, find the basin along the rear wall filled with water. Put the Water Sphinx statue inside.

The sphinx magically converts into the first of four Pyramidion pieces needed to progress. Go ahead and collect it.

Decoding the Eagle Glyph Puzzle

Moving along, this next puzzle involves decoding a series of Egyptian glyphs.

First, grab the brush and "Egyptology 101" book from the suitcase resting on the chamber floor. Use the brush on the chest below the Eagle carving.

Brushing dust away reveals three lines of Egyptian numeral glyphs engraved on the chest surface. This is where the Egyptology 101 book comes in handy.

According to the book, the three lines of glyphs represent the numbers:

  • Line 1: 1000
  • Line 2: 2000
  • Line 3: 426

Added together, these total 3426.

Enter this code using the four rotating dice mounted above the chest. When set correctly to 3426, the cage next to the chest will unlock.

Head inside and grab the Cage Key now available. Use it to unlock the chest itself.

Inside waits the second Pyramidion piece! Two down, two to go.

Assembling the Complete Pyramidion

Collect the two remaining Pyramidion pieces scattered around the chamber, bringing your total to four.

Now return to the original Sphinx statue pillar. You‘ll notice four empty slots around its base, sized just right for the Pyramidions.

Insert each of the four Pyramidion pieces into the pillar‘s slots. Give it a few seconds to register them.

Once all four are correctly in place, the pillar will open to reveal the first Chamber Key inside!

Unlocking the First Maze Door

This Chamber Key will let us unlock maze doors deeper in the chamber.

Look for the sealed door with a triangular engraving on it and use the key here.

Get ready to put your maze solving skills to the test!

Solving the First Maze

With the door unlocked, you‘ll gain access to the first maze chamber.

In this maze, the goal is to select which glyphs allow you to traverse the maze from start to finish.

Through trial and error, the correct sequence of glyphs is:

  1. Lion
  2. Container with Triangle
  3. Rectangle
  4. Cactus

Follow this precise order, only stepping on tiles marked with these glyphs, to safely navigate the maze.

Once you successfully reach the end, you‘ll receive another Chamber Key for the next area!

Tackling the Advanced Maze

Use the Second Chamber Key on the next sealed triangular door.

Brace yourself – this second maze is noticeably more difficult! For this one, we‘ll need to reference the Egyptology 102 book again.

The book indicates that in hieroglyphs, the bee symbol translates to "bjt". This stands for the sequence leg, snake and semicircle.

Therefore, the proper path through this maze is to only step on tiles marked with the leg, snake and semicircle glyphs.

Refer to the book if you need a reminder of what these look like. Take it slowly, double checking each tile.

Completing this longer, winding maze earns you the third and final Chamber Key!

Escaping the First Chamber

You‘ve made it to the end, well done!

For the final step, locate the last remaining sealed triangular door and use the Third Chamber Key on it.

Once unlocked, head through the open passageway. Congratulations, you‘ve officially escaped the First Chamber!

I hope you found my detailed walkthrough helpful for conquering this introductory escape room. Let me know if you have any other questions – I‘m happy to provide extra hints or clarify anything along the way.

If you enjoy solving fiendish puzzles and immersive stories, I highly recommend picking up the remaining Escape Simulator packs. The challenges ramp up in the later chambers and rooms.

Thanks for reading, fellow escape room fan! I wish you the best of luck on your future escape room endeavors. Just remember, if you ever get stuck again, I‘m here to help!
