- Find a water bottle
- Find emergency rations
- Find a bandage
- Take all 3 items to the smuggling tunnels and place them in the designated spot
Get those supplies set up and you‘ll progress the DMZ story and unlock more missions! But it‘s also a great way to explore Al Mazrah, get loot, and sharpen your combat skills.
Now let‘s get into the nitty gritty strategy!
Locating a Water Bottle
Water bottles can randomly spawn in buildings across Al Mazrah. Check ground floors and counters in kitchens, restaurants, cafes, tents, and offices. But don‘t just rely on luck! Here are some high-percentage water bottle locations I‘ve scouted:
- Rasoul apartment kitchens/counters
- Taraq Townhouses second floors
- Observatory Cafe tables
- Rohan Oil tents
- Al Sharim Pass government buildings
Or craft purified water at a crafting table! You‘ll need 2 weapon parts and 2 filters. Loot weapon part caches and eliminate enemies carrying filters.
I suggest landing near apartments or commercial areas first to find bottles fast. If no luck, craft purified water as a backup. Stay hydrated out there!
Finding Emergency Rations
Rations frequently spawn in medical areas like:
- Hospitals: Check clinics, waiting areas, shelves
- First aid stations: Loot bags and boxes
- Buy stations: Purchase for $3,000
The hospital in Rohan Oil is especially loaded with rations. I‘d start your search there. Also grab any extras you find for future missions or to sell for big cash!

Locating Bandages
Bandages reliably spawn in:

Once again, hospitals and first aid stations are go-to loot sources. That Rohan Oil hospital has multiple bathrooms and medical cabinets to search.
Some other prime bandage sources:
- Observatory bathrooms
- Harbortown portables
- Al Sharim Pass bathrooms
- Sawah village huts
I like landing near Observeratory then sweeping south through Sawah to stock up on bandages quickly. But stay stealthy, as Sawah has heavy AI patrols.
Placing the Hideout Supplies
Got all 3 items? Outstanding! Now head to these smuggling tunnels south of Al Sharim Pass:
Enter the tunnels, then approach the barrels near the rock with overhead lighting. Place the water, rations, and bandage on the rock to set up the safehouse as shown below:
You may need to clear out any AI combatants patrolling the tunnels first. I prefer a suppressed SMG for quickly quieting any resistance in close quarters.
