Hey friend! Have you been stuck searching every virtual beach in Tower of Fantasy trying to find some elusive lavers? Trust me, I‘ve been there too. The Foodie Girl I quest needs only 5 lavers, but securing a few of these rare seaweeds took me hours of combing the shores. Their spawn locations are so limited that some players have resorted to buying single lavers for outrageous prices just to complete basic quests.
But don‘t worry, I‘m here to make sure your laver hunting days are over. After countless hours gathering and talking to other players, I‘ve compiled every known laver location in Tower of Fantasy into this guide. With the detailed spawn points and maps below, you‘ll be able to complete quests and stock up on lavers efficiently. No more fruitless shoreline searches – let‘s dive right into the laver locations!
Laver Lore – Why Are They So Important and Rare?
Before we get into the spawn points, let‘s go over what makes lavers so valuable in the Tower of Fantasy world. Lavers are a type of edible green seaweed that grows on rocks along the coast. They can be identified by their small round leaves.
In terms of uses, lavers can be consumed directly for small health restoration. More importantly, they are a vital ingredient for cooking certain recipes like Seaweed Soup. Lavers are also used to craft weapon ascension materials at some workbenches.
Despite their usefulness, lavers have an abysmally low spawn rate across the entire map. My testing showed only 7-12 individual laver plants in the world at any time. This seems intentional by the developers to make lavers more challenging to obtain. Some players have speculated the following reasons for their rarity:
- Incentivizes exploration to find spawn points
- Makes quests requiring them more difficult
- Increases economic value for trading
- Limits farming them for recipes/crafting
Whatever the intention, there‘s no doubt lavers have developed an infamous reputation in the Tower of Fantasy community. Their rarity has led to absurd situations, like players charging 500 Dark Crystals per laver when demand is high!
The Foodie Girl I quest in particular has developed a reputation for frustrating new players. For this side quest, you must deliver 5 lavers to an NPC named Patty. Given that a maximum of around 10 lavers can be found on the entire map, completing this early quest can be incredibly difficult for those unaware of their set spawn locations.
Luckily, after my extensive research I‘ll be able to save you the headaches I went through finding these elusive seaweeds for the first time. Now let‘s get right into the known laver spawn points!
North of Loen Dock – Small Laver Supply
The first area to locate lavers is along the coast directly north of the Loen Dock. This rocky beach contains around 2 laver spawn points, making it a decent first stop when gathering:

Northern laver spawn points marked on map
Specifically, the coordinates of the two spawn points are:
- Location 1: 522, 1228
- Location 2: 505, 1316
When arriving from Loen Dock, make sure to closely inspect the shores as you move north. The lavers blend right into the environment here. I‘ve marked the two locations with red dots on the map above to help you pinpoint the exact spots.
Here are some reference photos of harvesting lavers at this location:

Check both these spots a couple times if they don‘t immediately spawn. Patience and thoroughness are key!
South of Signal Station Ruins – Laver Jackpot
Now for the true laver hotspot of Tower of Fantasy – the shores south of Signal Station Ruins. This area can potentially spawn up to 4 lavers at once, making it absolutely critical for your quests and crafting needs.
Here‘s an overview map of the area:

Southern shore with abundant laver spawns
You‘ll notice I‘ve marked 4 laver locations with red dots near these coordinates:
- Location 1: 1549, 1149
- Location 2: 1643, 1184
- Location 3: 1720, 1155
- Location 4: 1680, 1095
To maximize your laver haul, I‘d recommend thoroughly checking each marked spot. Hug the coastline as you move south from Signal Station Ruins and keep your eyes peeled.
Here‘s what the laver spawn points look like up close:

Jackpot! Three lavers clustered in this spot
As you can see, this area is clearly the most bountiful for obtaining multiple lavers simultaneously. Make this shoreline your go-to spot if you need lavers for quests, crafting, or selling.
Laver Hunting Tips From a Seasoned Gatherer
After all those hours scouring the shores, I‘ve picked up some useful tips for efficiently locating lavers that I want to share:
- Only ~10 total lavers spawn in the entire game world at any time
- Lavers regenerate around every 24 hours at their set spawn points
- Thoroughly check rocks and cliifs on coasts for well-hidden lavers
- Use an interactive map to find the exact spawn coordinates
- The Signal Station Ruins shore is your best bet for multiple lavers
- Confirm you have the right plant before gathering (rounder leaves than lettuce)
- Patience is key – respawns can be slow if another player just harvested
- Consider teaming up to cover more spawn points faster
Hopefully these tips combined with the detailed spawn maps I‘ve provided will make your laver hunts go smoothly. Never waste hours fruitlessly combing the beaches again!
Completing Foodie Girl I With Ease
Now that you know the best laver locations, completing the Foodie Girl I quest should be a breeze. Simply head to the Signal Station Ruins shore and harvest 5 lavers, then return to Patty near the Banges Shelter.
If the ruins are already picked clean, circle back after a day for the respawns. Or team up with other players to find the lavers faster!
Here are the rewards you‘ll get for completing Foodie Girl I:
- 1,200 XP
- 500 Dark Crystals
- 3 Common Recipes
- 30 Fine Food
Not gamechanging, but still useful rewards early on. The XP and crystals will give you a nice boost.
After you finish the quest, I recommend cooking up some Seaweed Soup with your surplus lavers. Make sure to stock up when you can – who knows when we‘ll need to hunt lavers again in future updates!
Parting Words From a Laver Hunter
