Overview of Lost Riches Day 1 Goals
The main objective is simple: follow the Seelie through Chatrakam Cave to locate 9 blue orbs, then gather enough Energy at the designated treasure areas to unlock 3 precious chests.
Along the way, you‘ll need to defeat enemies like Treasure Hoarders and Slimes to gather the required Energy particles. Once you‘ve opened all 3 chests, you‘ve fully cleared the Day 1 challenge!
The rewards are totally worth it: you‘ll earn Primogems, Hero‘s Wits, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Mora, and other valuables. We could all use those materials, right?
Now, let‘s break it down step-by-step.
Step 1: Start at Chatrakam Cave
All the action takes place around Chatrakam Cave in Liyue. Open your map and fast travel to the Statue of the Seven to kick things off.
Equip your Treasure-Seeking Seelie gadget by opening your inventory and selecting it in the event section. This friendly spirit will guide you to the glittering orbs and eventually the treasure.
Step 2: Locate the First Set of 3 Orbs
Your journey starts by tracking down 3 blue seelie orbs in this area. They have a bright glow and make an ethereal tinkling sound when you‘re close.
Here is exactly where to find them:

Orb 1: Floating at the top of a tall tree near the southern part of the area. Climb the branches to grab it.

Orb 2: Sitting on a boulder south of the tree. Use an archer or catalyst user to shoot it down.

Orb 3: Nestled in the roots of a large mushroom tree just northwest. Glide down carefully from the platforms.
Check your progress in the event menu – once you‘ve collected the first set of 3 orbs, it‘s treasure time!
Step 3: Gather Energy at the First Treasure Area
After obtaining 3 orbs, your Seelie will lead you to the first treasure site, marked by a dug up pile of dirt on your mini-map.
When you arrive, groups of enemies will emerge from the ground. Defeat them using your best DPS characters to gather the pink Energy particles that drop.
Target Treasure Hoarder scouts first as they try to run away with Energy. Defeating Slimes works too. Collect particles until the "Seelie Vitality" bar is full.
Then, a prompt will appear allowing you to open the lavish Exquisite Chest!
Tip: For tough enemies, use hydro characters against pyro slimes and cryo against hydro abyss mages.
Step 4: Locate the Second Set of 3 Orbs
After scoring your first chest, it‘s time to resume the hunt! Your Seelie will guide you to 3 more orb locations.

Orb 4: Found floating north of the first treasure area, across the water.

Orb 5: Situated west along the shore on top of a fallen tree trunk.

Orb 6: Nearby to the west, along the cliff face.
With 3 more seelie orbs added to your tally, you‘re halfway done with the Day 1 targets!
Step 5: Gather Energy at the Second Treasure Area
As before, your Seelie will mark the second treasure site after obtaining 3 more orbs.
Head to the area and defeat all the emerging enemies, picking up the Energy particles until your Seelie Vitality fills up again. Then open the sparkling Exquisite Chest.
Pro Tip: Use an Anemo character like Sucrose or Kazuha to group enemies together for faster clears.

Step 6: Locate the Final Set of 3 Orbs
The home stretch! Here is where to find the last 3 seelie orbs:

Orb 7: Resting atop a fungal growth sprouting from the ground.

Orb 8: Floating above a ledge, requiring some climbing up a wall and dropping down to reach.

Orb 9: Perched on a mushroom platform across a gap. Glide over carefully.

Step 7: Gather Energy at the Third Treasure Area
After nabbing all 9 orbs, your Seelie guides you to the third and final treasure site. Take down enemies one last time, scoop up Energy drops, and open that final chest!
