Lyngbakr Island Odin‘s Raven Location in God of War Ragnarok – A Complete Walkthrough

As a longtime fan of the God of War series, I was eagerly anticipating the release of Ragnarök and the chance to once again step into the shoes of Kratos. Now that I‘ve had the chance to fully immerse myself in this incredible game, I wanted to provide a thorough walkthrough to help fellow fans locate one of the trickiest collectibles – the Lyngbakr Island Odin Raven.

In this complete 2800+ word guide, I‘ll offer maps, visuals, tips, and step-by-step instructions to lead you to the hidden raven perched on a cliff in the fiery realm of Muspelheim. As an avid gamer and God of War enthusiast, it‘s my goal to help you unlock the rewarding "Eyes of Odin" collectible trophies.

Let‘s begin this quest together!

Odin‘s Devious Ravens Provide Useful Upgrades

As you probably know already, Odin‘s pesky ravens are hidden across the realms to test your perception and skill. Destroying these ravens grants permanent boosts to Kratos‘s health and rage meters. Even better, for each set of 6 ravens eliminated, you unlock special ability chests containing new armor or powerful runic attacks.

These useful upgrades make hunting down Odin‘s spies well worth the effort. By finding all 48 in-game ravens, you can maximize Kratos‘s power and earn the legendary ‘Eyes of Odin‘ trophy. As a bonus, seeing those ravens explode into shards of wood never gets old!

However, Odin has tucked away his ravens in extremely clever spots. You‘ll really need to explore off the beaten path and revisit areas with new abilities to find them all. Some even require solving tricky puzzles or platforming challenges.

Luckily for you, I‘ve already located each of the elusive ravens in my complete playthrough. And I‘m ready to guide you to the one on fiery Lyngbakr Island next!

Welcome to Deadly Lyngbakr – Watch Your Step!

The main story will eventually lead you to the scorching hot realm of Lyngbakr Island in Muspelheim. This volcanic land is home to the giant Surtr and overflowing with environmental hazards like lava pools and explosive geysers. The intense heat constantly drains Kratos‘s health, so you need to be extra alert.

Lyngbakr may be small in size, but it holds many secrets. Alongside the main mission of freeing the dragon Hræzlyr, you can explore to find precious resources, Nornir chests, and of course Odin‘s Ravens.

One raven, in particular, sits on the left cliff side past some tunnels. Reaching it requires expert dodging between fire traps and precise platforming across lava overhangs. I hope my detailed walkthrough helps you safely traverse this perilous realm and claim your reward!

Let‘s get started, fellow warrior!

Follow the Trail to the Hidden Tunnel

When you first arrive on Lyngbakr Island, your goal is to take down the Wretch Nest structure to open the left area of the realm. This arena contains several deadly Nightmares, so I recommend utilizing your best Runic attacks and paying close attention to their attack patterns. Look out for the unblockable grab move which can take you out fast.

After destroying the Nest, head left through the newly opened metal gate. Keep going past the chain on your right until you reach two gaps covered in breakable golden debris. Pick up the lava rock sitting nearby and toss it at the debris to clear your path across both gaps.

Nice throw! Now turn around to spot a grapple point on the cliff behind you. Use your Blades of Chaos to zip upward, then shimmy left along the narrow rock ledge. At the end, you‘ll see a tunnel leading into the mountain. Crawl inside slowly.

This cramped tunnel may be claustrophobic, but it holds the secret to finding your feathered friend. Just watch your head on those low stalactites!

Claim Your Reward from the Hidden Cliffside

As you emerge from the other end of the musty tunnel, be ready to make a quick left turn. Perched on the cliff ledge you‘ll notice the Raven, along with a Hacksilver treasure chest.

Lock onto the Raven and hit it with a precision axe throw or arrow shot to make it explode in a puff of feathers. This satisfying blast confirms you‘ve collected the sneaky bird! Now you can loot the chest and retrace your steps back out of the tunnels.

Thanks to your exploration skills, you‘ll walk away with more Vitality for Kratos, some useful Hacksilver, and progress towards the Eyes of Odin trophy. Well done!
