What Exactly Are Roshade Shaders Anyway?

Recent Updates Have Blocked Roshade – What Gives?
So if Roshade is so popular and safe, why did it mysteriously stop working? The culprit is a new anti-cheat system called Hyperion that Roblox implemented recently.

The ReShade injector itself still loads up just fine with Roblox‘s x64 client and Hyperion enabled. No issues getting it initialized.

However, Hyperion detects the ReShade overlay and dynamically blocks it from displaying any shaders or graphics.

So ReShade loads in the background, but none of its visual effects actually show up in-game. Bummer!
Essentially, Hyperion overzealously flags the ReShade overlay as suspicious activity, blocking players from seeing their sweet post-processing effects. The Roshade team has reached out to Roblox to get ReShade whitelisted, but the ball is in Roblox‘s court to unblock it.

Additional Troubleshooting to Get Shaders Running Smoothly

Completely re-install Roshade
An update like this can sometimes leave remnants of old files behind that conflict with new changes. Consider wiping Roshade clean off your system with a fresh install for a smooth shader experience.
Update Your Graphics Drivers
Your GPU drivers play a huge role in shader performance. Be sure you‘re rocking the latest stable drivers from Nvidia or AMD for best compatibility.
Tweak ReShade Settings in the Menu
If certain shader effects aren‘t playing nice, you can toggle them on and off or adjust their intensity via the in-game ReShade menu. Disable depth buffers if you notice artifacts.
Try Community Presets
