Pinpointing the Seed Mirror Tower‘s Location
The first step in finding our elusive friend is identifying exactly where the Seed Mirror Tower is tucked away. Through my own explorations and comparing notes with fellow fans online, I‘ve been able to conclusively place the tower along the northern cliffs of Devantaka Mountain in northwest Sumeru.
Now, Sumeru is a massive area, so even having the general mountain pinned down, scanning the cliffs for the tower itself can still be tricky. I‘d recommend gliding from high vantage points around the mountain to carefully sweep the cliffsides. You‘ll know you‘ve found the right spot when you see a large, hollow tree structure overlooking the region below.
Gaining Entry into the Tower
After the long search, you‘ve finally spotted your target – the Seed Mirror Tower! Glide or climb your way over to the base of the tree. You‘ll notice there‘s only one entrance, and it‘s blocked by a pesky explosive barrel.
Luckily, you came prepared! Take aim with a bow user like Amber or Ganyu and shoot the barrel to clear the way forward. With the path now open, head inside and look for a ladder along the back wall. Ascend to the upper level where the real puzzle awaits.
Activating the Seed Mirror
At the top of the tower you‘ll find an inert Seed Mirror. These mirrors are powered by Electro energy, so whip out your best Electro characters like Lisa, Razor, or Keqing to activate it.
Hit it with some Electro attacks and the mirror will soon flare to life, revealing several small Withering Zones around the edges. We‘re getting closer now!
Capturing the Withering Zones
Here comes the tricky part – capturing the Withering Zones to reveal our sneaky Aranara friend. After charging the mirror, you should see a zone in the center and one at the bottom left.
Start by capturing the central zone. Once that‘s secured, target the bottom left zone. If you look closely at the shape, you‘ll notice it‘s the perfect outline of a hiding Aranara! Capturing this zone will finally flush out our little troublemaker.
Coaxing Out the Hiding Aranara
Success! The vibrant forest spirit will be so surprised you found its excellent hiding spot. Turns out lying in the dirt isn‘t as foolproof a plan as it thought!
Go ahead and select the "Investigate" dialogue option to get some foraging goods from the Aranara, including Sunsettias, Radish, and more. You definitely earned it after this extended hide-and-seek game.
