Why Fecund Blessings Chests Are Worth Finding
Before we embark, let me motivate you with the rewards these treasure chests provide:
- 60 Primogems for finding all 8 special chests
- Hero‘s Wit to upgrade your characters
- Mora to boost weapons and talents
- Other precious items like artifacts and ascension materials

Pinpointing Windrise and Its Surroundings
To get started, we need to identify Windrise itself. This is the ruins atop the cliff where your journey began, marked by the Statue of the Seven.
Windrise acts as the gateway to Mondstadt and Stormterror‘s Lair. It features mystical stone arches and pillars surrounding the Anemo statue. A Teleport Waypoint also makes it easy to return here.
Now the hint says the chest is "near Windrise," but where exactly? Let‘s survey the surroundings:
- North: Stormterror‘s Lair and Brightcrown Mountains
- East: Springvale
- South: Starsnatch Cliff
- West: Falcon Coast and the coastline
Based on the clue, we‘ll want to head west from Windrise toward the river and coast. Specifically, we must travel southwest to find the red adventurer‘s tent.
Crossing the River to the West of Windrise
Exit Windrise to the west and you‘ll immediately hit the river flowing south. We need to follow this river downstream to the southwest.
There are a few bridges and landmasses you can use to safely cross the water. I highly recommend activating the nearby Teleport Waypoint before crossing, so you can easily return.
Stick to the west side of the river as you head southwest. You‘ll pass brightly glowing floral patches where you can gather resources.
Eventually the river will widen with more open water. At this point you‘re getting close to the red tent!
Identifying the Red Adventurer‘s Tent
As you follow the river southwest of Windrise, keep an eye out for a red tent on the west riverbank.
Specifically, look for these identifying features:
- Bright reddish-orange canvas
- Pointed roof with angular shape
- Ropes and pegs reinforcing the structure
- Lit campfire out front
- Cooking pots for crafting
This design clearly marks it as an adventurer‘s tent built for exploring the wilderness.
There are other tan and brown tents that serve as shelters for NPCs. Make sure you locate the red one described above.
Opening the Chest by the Tent
Once you‘ve spotted the correct red adventurer‘s tent, you‘ll see the Precious Chest right next to it!
Interact with the chest to open it and collect the loot. Congratulations, you‘ve now obtained one of the 8 special Fecund Blessings chests!
I recommend collecting this one sooner rather than later, since it‘s closest to the starting point. The remaining chests are scattered across more remote areas.

Tips for Other Hidden Chests Near Windrise
While you‘re exploring the river west of Windrise, keep an eye out for other precious chests tucked away in the wilderness.
I‘ve discovered several common chest spawns along the riverbank. They can blend into the environment, but using a Treasure-Seeking Seelie will help track them down.
There‘s also a hidden cave south of Windrise with some Luxurious and Precious Chests inside. Look for the cave entrance and use an Illuminated Beast to light the torches within.
And if you glide southwest from Windrise, there‘s a secluded island with chests and other goodies. Just be ready to battle the Hydro Abyss Mages first!
