As a long-time gamer and streaming enthusiast, I‘ve explored hundreds of virtual worlds. But few have captivated me as deeply as Tower of Fantasy. This open world RPG by Hotta Studio offers stunning anime-inspired visuals, satisfying action combat, and engaging co-op gameplay.
One of my favorite parts of Tower of Fantasy is the wide variety of mounts. Traversing the massive map requires a speedy steed. Mounts also provide combat bonuses that amplify your strength in battle. But there‘s one mount that rises above them all – the futuristic Voyager.
Obtaining this robotic hover vehicle takes time and effort. But trust me, the payoff is incredible. As a Tower of Fantasy expert with over 200 hours logged, allow me to be your guide on the epic quest to get the Voyager Hull.
Why Every Player Needs The Voyager Mount
Before we embark, let me break down exactly why the Voyager is a must-have for any aspiring Tower of Fantasy player:
-
Blazing Speed – With a max velocity of 18m/s, it‘s one of the fastest mounts in the game. Zooming around the map will be a blast.
-
Soaring Leap – Its powerful jump clears massive gaps and obstacles with ease. Mountains and canyons won‘t slow you down!
-
Combat Kick – Grants a 15% damage bonus during mounted combat. Exterminate enemies while hovering about stylishly.
-
Slick Aesthetic – Its sleek robotic design looks straight out of a sci-fi anime. Flex on others with your futuristic drip.
-
Rarity = Prestige – Due to the difficulty in acquiring it, the Voyager mount grants bragging rights. You‘ll be the envy of every player in Aida!
As a tech geek, I love mounts that marry form and function. The Voyager nails it on both fronts. Let‘s get you soaring through the virtual skies in no time!
An Overview Of Mounts in Tower of Fantasy
Tower of Fantasy takes place on the massive planet of Aida. As an open world RPG, you are free to explore its sprawling regions. Walking on foot will get tedious fast considering Aida‘s scale. Luckily, the game provides mounts to facilitate traversal and combat.
There are currently 5 mounts available in Tower of Fantasy:
-
Scooter – The default mount you receive early on. Decent speed and jumping power. No combat bonus.
-
Angel – Obtained by gacha. Grants a small HP regen buff during combat. Stylish white wings.
-
Unicorn – From gacha. Gains a stacking damage buff for each attack landed. Beautiful pastel design.
-
Chaser – Received from story progress. Above average speed and leap. Gets a weak crowd control beam attack.
-
Voyager – Built from rare parts. The elite mount detailed in this guide!
As you can see, the Voyager stands in a league of its own. Let‘s get into the steps to build this highly coveted hover vehicle.
Step 1: Complete The Hyena‘s Banges Base Questline
The first component we need to kickstart the Voyager quest comes from the Hyena‘s crew stationed at Banges Base northwest of the Banges Ruins.
Speak to Morglay to get the questline started. You‘ll be doing tasks like eliminating enemies and collecting resources. Completing all of Morglay‘s quests takes about 60-90 minutes.
I‘d recommend being around level 30 before attempting this in order to breeze through the enemies. If you‘re struggling, don‘t be afraid to matchmake for co-op help! Playing with others makes the Hyena quests more fun.
Once you finish Morglay‘s missions, a new quest called "A Sweet Bribe" will unlock at the Hyena‘s second camp located in Navia Bay. Time to get cooking!
Step 2: Craft Iced Strawberry Soda To Receive Console Components
The Hyena NPC at Navia Bay tasks you with creating a crafting item called Iced Strawberry Soda to progress the Voyager quest. Here are the ingredients you‘ll need:
- 15 Strawberries
- 15 Honey
- 15 Carbonated Water
I recommend stocking up on these materials beforehand to save time:
-
Strawberries – Purchase from the general store or collect from bushes in Navia.
-
Honey – Mine crystallized honey nodes near sequoia trees.
-
Carbonated Water – Made by combining hydrogen and oxygen at a cooking bot.
Once you have everything, head to any cooking bot and select the Iced Strawberry Soda recipe. Hand the crafted soda to the Hyena NPC and he‘ll give you a key item – Console Components.
Pro Tip: If you‘re missing ingredients for the soda, you can usually find players selling them in Crews or regional chat. Don‘t be shy to ask for help!
Step 3: Locate and Activate Towers To Unlock Terminals
This next phase involves locating towers across the map that contain terminals connected to the Voyager parts we need. Activating each terminal will get us closer to the Hull.
Here are the towers and codes:
- Raincaller Island: -768.1, -574.5
Code: 5972
- Banges Omnium: -457.4, -340.7
Repair with components
- Navia Stronghold: -258.4, -537.9
Activate terminal
I recommend clearing out the small dungeons inside each tower first. The viruses and security bots can quickly overwhelm you if you rush the terminals. Better to be safe than sorry!
Activating all three of these towers will unlock special supply pods that contain Voyager components. Let‘s head to Navia next to grab the Hull.
Step 4: Loot Supply Pods In Navia Ecological Park
Now return to the tower located inside the ecological park at -444.3, -589.2 in central Navia Bay. You can use those Console Components to repair the terminal here.
Interact with the terminal to activate the tower. This will cause 4 supply pods outside the tower to drop loot, including our Voyager Hull!
Fight your way through the park to each supply pod. I recommend clearing out the nearby enemies first so you aren‘t interrupted while looting.
You‘ll receive various crafting materials from the first 3 pods opened. But once you access the 4th supply pod, the Voyager Hull will be yours!
Step 5: Acquire The Remaining Voyager Parts
Believe it or not, we‘re almost there! The Voyager Hull is 1 of 4 rare parts required to build the full mount:
-
Voyager Hull – Acquired in previous steps
-
Voyager Engine – Obtained via tower puzzle in Warren Snowfields
-
Voyager Thruster – Low chance drop from Phase 5 Frontier Clash
-
Voyager Control Station – Reward for completing Steel Fortress Raid
I won‘t spoil the details on acquiring each part. Just know the Engine and Control Station quests involve solving more tower puzzles.
The Thruster has a 2-3% drop rate from the Frontier Clash boss, so you may need to farm that repeatedly. Don‘t fret though – each run gives tons of upgrade materials.
Once you‘ve gathered all 4 Voyager components, return to the tutorial area, Open World, and interact with the Vehicle Manufacturing Terminal to combine them into your very own Voyager!
